Stefanie Naujoks joined IDC’s European Manufacturing Insights Team in 2017 as a Senior Research Manager.
In this role, she will be responsible for a new global program on one of the most exciting areas of the industry: manufacturing business ecosystems strategies. This includes managing supply networks, selling into new business ecosystems and manufacturing B2B Commerce, enabling better ecosystem collaboration through industry collaborative clouds, as well as automation and transparency within business ecosystems. In addition, she will support other European Manufacturing Insights' research streams and lead or contribute to consulting and events engagements in the region. Stefanie is a native German speaker and based in Germany.
Stefanie brings to IDC 20 years of industry experience, both from the analyst side (Gartner, PAC) and IT Vendor side (for example she worked as European marketing manager for the global IT services business of Silicon Graphics).
Prior to joining IDC, Stefanie worked as a senior analyst for PAC, covering the software and IT services market in the manufacturing sector. Stefanie has published numerous market studies in the fields of digital transformation, IoT, Industry 4.0, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Supply Chain Management (SCM). Additionally, she was also engaged in several consulting projects, helping IT vendors to define their strategic positioning in the German and European manufacturing sector by providing profound market analysis and insights, strategy workshops and M&A support.
Stefanie holds an honor's degree in economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany, where her studies focused on corporate IT management, marketing and organisational psychology. As a freelance author, she furthermore published numerous management reports about IT and electrical engineering related trend topics for the German business information publisher GBI Genios
