Peter Rosseel is Director of Management Consulting and Research, a spin-off of the University of Leuven and visiting professor at the University of Leuven.
He holds degrees in Germanic Philology (University of Leuven, Belgium) and Neurolinguistics (Free University of Brussels, Belgium) and a Certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Southern California in the US. Under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Erik De Corte he has specialised in Instructional Psychology.
His research interests lie in the domains of leadership and team development, organisational/cultural change (Change Management in general and the people side of change in particular), digital transformation, Instructional Psychology (the learning organisation), strategy development and implementation, project management and interpersonal communication.
He gives key note addresses for organisations world-wide on Leadership, Team Development, Digital transformation, Academic Entrepreneurship, Strategy Development, Management of Diversity, Intercultural Growth, Change Management and Performance Management.
Within his function of visiting professor at the University of Leuven, he manages research and education projects for the European Commission and the Flemish Government that have resulted in several publications. Seven of these education and research projects were aimed at the implementation of Curriculum 2005 and Outcomes based Education in South Africa. He is currently involved as project leader in an HIV/AIDS project for VLIR (Vlaamse Interuniversitaire Raad) and Eurogentest, a 5-year change management project for the European Commission in collaboration with the Centre for Human Genetics of the University of Leuven.
On the basis of his research in the above-mentioned domains, Peter is frequently consulted by large corporations world-wide such as Microsoft, Sony, British American Tobacco ( 117 countries), CISCO Systems, Accenture (Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, UK), Pick ‘n Pay, Mediclinic, Edgars (South Africa), Solar, Bekaert and JCC (Brazil), BNPParis-Fortis (France), Boehringer-Ingelheim (Taiwan), Sodexo, KBC bank, Dataflow, Provinces of Vlaams Brabant, West-Flanders and East –Flanders, University Hospital Ghent and Brussels, City of Geel and City of Antwerp, Izico, Nutricia and Iglo, where he facilitates and coaches on strategy implementation, (digital) transformation, and leadership.
Peter received an Honorary Degree at the University of Free State in South Africa in July 2001 in recognition of his outstanding academic contributions to national interest and in particular to the interest of the University of Free State. He was an extraordinary Professor from 2004-2014 at the same University. Between 2007 and 2009, he also was EMS Professor in the Human Resources Program at the EHSAL Management School in Brussels.
